July Newsletter
HELLO!
And a very warm welcome to my first ever newsletter!
July is a busy month for our family, it heralds the end of the school year and with it, a sense of rushing to the finish line. There’s certainly plenty to be doing around here and not least than in my little kitchen studio where I have been busy planning, painting and photographing.
I wanted to create this newsletter as a means to reach people who take an interest in art, those who are open and curious to learn more about the process of seeking inspiration and letting that guide the painting process. So every month I’ll be sharing a little something from behind the scenes- the works in progress, the colours and moments I’m drawn to and a few thoughts on what it means to slow down and find my flow- with a paintbrush in hand.
This month also marks a small but meaningful milestone for me as I launched my website, a place where you can explore my paintings in depth and learn more about my story as an emerging artist. It’s been in the works for a while now and honestly, it feels wonderful to finally be able to share it with you!
As the month progresses, we will be packing up to head to the North Devon coast- I honestly can’t wait to feel the sand beneath my toes and squeeze into my salty wetsuit once again! I’m also really looking forward to soaking up some of my favourite views and having them guide the next series of paintings.
I think that’s everything for now- thank you again for being here at the very beginning- it means a great deal. I’ll be back at the start of August with more quiet updates from the travelling studio!
